The Shoah Memorial in Drancy invites you to discover a rare selection of graffiti made by internees before their deportation. A museum mediator will present the history of these inscriptions, retrace the journey of some internees and shed light on their daily life within the Drancy camp.
This visit will also be an opportunity to explore the work of the French visual artist Chemsedine Herriche, author of a fresco installed facing the city of La Muette. His work pays tribute to the memory of places and echoes the different messages left by the internees.
For the volunteers, an unprecedented visit to the prison of the Drancy camp will be offered at the end of the session.
