She met Shelomo in 1951 and married him in 1954. In 1955, the couple settled in Paris, where they lived and worked together.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth actively participated in the accomplishment and preservation of her husband\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>She was notably behind the lettering of the Selinger monument in front of the city of La Muette in Drancy. She made many photographs of the sculptures, intended for the archives, and took care of the workshop by ensuring the maintenance, the repertory and the enhancement of the works.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout their life together, Ruth and Shelomo formed a true duo.<\/p>\n<p>Since April 9, 2025, an exhibition dedicated to the art of Shelomo Selinger is pres\u00ab I owe him a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to her, I moved forward despite the difficulties. With her, I built a family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shelomo Selinger about Ruthy in an interview dated 17 November 2008<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ented at the Drancy Memorial.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth provided valuable assistance in its preparation and realization, thus continuing her constant commitment to the dissemination and recognition of her husband\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside \u00c9lie Abitbol, her grandson, Ruth Selinger played a decisive role in organizing the exhibition of Shelomo Selinger\u2019s works at the Drancy Memorial. A role that she had held from the beginning of Shelomo\u2019s vocation as an artist, and which she kept throughout her career and their life together.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab I owe HER a lot. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Thanks to her, I moved forward despite the difficulties.
