Discover the exhibition Homosexuals and lesbians in Nazi Europe exhibition

tuesday 18 february 2025sunday 30 march 2025

For a long time, the fate of ‘pink triangles’ was taboo and remains unknown. Indeed, it was only thanks to the gay and lesbian liberation movement of the 1970s that the subject began to be debated. This exhibition places the persecution of homosexuals under the Nazi regime in a European context, while focusing on German and French cases, from the first homosexual movements at the end of the 19th century to the most recent memorial processes. Life histories testify to the heterogeneous destiny of homosexual men and women during this period, when they were sometimes also Jewish, resistant, even sympathizers of the regime.
